I am an agri consultant that although based in Aberdeenshire, I cover then whole of the North of Scotland area. With a degree in Animal Science and 5 years experience as an Animal Health & Welfare Inspector, I am perfectly placed to assist you in navigating the ever increasing red tape that surrounds your Farming/crofting enterprise.
Some of the tasks that I can assist you with include Farm Subsidy/Grant claims, Livestock records, Crop records, Diversification projects, general administration/office tasks - this list is by no means exhaustive but feel free to give me a call to discuss your requirements

Initially she was just employed to do the pig and cattle records. The crop program wasn't doing what we wanted, so she soon replaced it with excel spreadsheets. Karin also updates the NVZ (Nitrate Vulnerable Zone) records and gets everything in order for IPPC (Integrated Prevention of Pollution and Control) and Quality Assurance inspections. She submits the numerous forms to the Scottish Government in order for a farming business to operate. (BPS, Beef Efficiency Scheme, Scottish Beef Calf Scheme, Agricultural Census)
Last December, Karin set up a new computer system in my office. She also set up email accounts on my mobile and iPad. I would say that she really knows her way round a computer. She also has a good understanding of agriculture
